I’m lucky to have access to parks, canals, and woodlands nearby, though there’s no escaping the bricks around here. I’ve lived in built-up areas near the UK’s second-largest city all my life, so finding green spaces within the urban landscape is both a privilege and a necessity.
While popping through our local park this morning, I noticed how quickly the scenery is shifting. Just a week or two ago, the grassy areas and pathways were covered with reds, oranges, and yellows from fallen leaves, and the park felt lush and full. Today, most of those leaves have vanished from the trees, and by next week, I suspect they’ll be bare.
Originally, I planned to write an autumn-inspired post for today. But instead, as I walked those paths, surrounded by hints of nature amidst the urban landscape, I felt inspired to celebrate the everyday beauty of the places we call home and the moments that make up our daily lives.
Curated Inspiration
I’ve gathered a collection of inspiring page designs from my creative team and the ‘Pollys’ at the Lilypad, all capturing the charm of urban landscapes and tidbits from everyday routines.
