My December Project + Inspiration Gallery
Prep Chat + Design Ideas for a Documenting Your December Project
If you caught my last post, you’ll know that this weekend at the LilyPad is all about ‘Document Your December.’ If you missed it, don't worry—here’s a link to my guide with tips for preparing and planning your project . . .
Last year, I tried something a little different.
December can be overwhelming for me; I love the holidays, but getting mentally ready for them takes time. My schedule is packed with design deadlines, school term routines, parenting, holiday preparations etc. So, I created a mini-project just for me, something small to keep me grounded and give me a creative outlet.
I used a tiny Christmas Carol book to make collages and journal simple reflections whenever I had a few spare minutes.
This year, I’m planning a similar approach, probably using my no-stitch accordion art journal but I also have a vintage Hymns Book and an Atlas, I’m still pondering . . .
I’ll keep you posted once I’ve finished planning this year but for now, here are some of last years project peeks . . .
Supplies used were from Hear My Voice Growing, Hear My Voice Carol Singing, Shine Bright, Sweet December Stories, Fa La La La La plus my Seasonal Stamps and Brushes from the Memory Pockets Monthly Twinkle.
